The political season heats up in Yakima on Saturday. The Yakima County Republican Central Committee caucuses will be held on Saturday at 12 different locations throughout the county. Benine Mcdonnell is chair of the committee who says if you plan to attend a caucus get there early. The caucuses start at 10:00 am Saturday morning. "People don't know what precinct they live in. We're going to make sure that they are in the proper precinct because if they get elected a delegate in the wrong precinct they can't represent their neighbors at the county convention." This year the Yakima County Republican Convention is set for year April 16 at Davis High School in Yakima. For the location of the caucus in your area go to state Republican party website at WSRP.org. or call the local Republican Committee at 972 0631.
Washington State’s Democratic Caucuses will be held on Saturday, March 26 also at various locations throughout Yakima County.

The caucuses aim to elect delegates to county and legislative-district conventions.
