Yakima City Dog Park Closed Because of COVID-19 Concerns

Add the Yakima dog park to the list of closures.

You can walk your dog around your home but not the dog park. That's because the park is now closed because of COVID-19 concerns. City officials say too many people were gathering at the park.

Yakima Parks and Recreation also reminds the public that playground equipment at City parks is not available due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City previously closed the Harman Center, Lions Pool and all Parks and Recreation programs due to the virus.
