Yakima City Council Closer To Imposing Downtown Assessment For Cleanup Work

Will the clean up work continue in downtown Yakima?

The Yakima City Council didn't vote on a tax to support downtown cleanup on Tuesday but it did vote 7-0 to have Mayor Micah Cawley formulate a plan to bring back to the council on November 15th for more discussion. Cawley says says the city has the responsibility to take action to preserve the downtown area.
