The Yakima city council has a busy agenda Tuesday night. Because of the weather last week's council meeting was cancelled to items from that meeting and Tuesday's scheduled meeting need council attention. So because it's a busier agenda the council meeting starts at 5:00 p.m. instead of the usual 6:00 p.m. start time. One proposal in front of the council is for the Bicycle Apartments planned for North 50th and Summitview avenues. The Council is considering providing $1 million in federal funding for the proposed $19 million affordable housing project.

The council will also have a discussion about the H2A farm worker housing forum the council held on January 30 at the Yakima Convention Center.

The council meets at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Yakima City Hall.
