Yakima City Budget Talks Continue This Week

Another chance for you to learn about what's happening with your tax dollars in the city of Yakima. Two more study sessions will be held this week for the 2021 budget. The reason the Yakima City Council holds the sessions is to look closer at city service levels to make sure they're within forecasted city revenues.

The budget sessions will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Yakima City Hall on the following dates:

Tuesday, October 13th

Thursday, October 15th

The meeting will be conducted by speakerphone. Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend in person.
E-mail ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov to provide written comment to the City Council. Written comments received by 3:00 pm on Monday, October 5th, will be provided to the City Council prior to Tuesday morning’s meeting. There will be no opportunity for verbal comment from the public during the meeting.

All of the meetings will be in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
