The Bishop of the Yakima Diocese says the Catholic Church is working with the State and Federal government to resettle Syrian refugees in Washington. Bishop Joseph Tyson says he realizes people have fear and concerns but he says he's confident in the Federal screening process. "Most of the terrorism that we're seeing are from people already in the country. That's certainly what we saw in Paris and what we've seen here in the United States." As a result the Bishop says they dont' want to penalize people that truly need help. So he says it's vitally important to have a robust screening process. The Bishop says he's considering asking parishes in the Yakima Diocese to consider helping Syrian refugees if any ever arrive in the Yakima area.The Bishop Talks to the Morning News at 7:15 Wednesday.
