A Yakima attorney charged with second degree theft and introduction of contraband into the county jail will hear her fate from a judge in Yakima County Superior Court this afternoon. Kimberly Grijalvas' trial concluded on Friday. The attorney is accused of allowing inmates at the jail to make free calls not recorded by corrections officials. Prosecutors say the calls were made to her home then routed to other numbers. They say it was a major break in security and a theft of county phone services. Grijalva contends she didn't know the action was happening. She's also accused of allowing an inmate to use a cell phone during a visit to the jail last year.
