Yakima Arson Suspect Arrested

Yakima Police have arrested a suspect in a series of arson caused fires in South Central Yakima. The most recent fire happened Wednesday and destroyed  a shed on Pleasant Avenue.  Yakima Police Sgt. Tim Bardwell says police believe that the 44 year old suspect in responsible for several fires in the neighborhood.  He was arrested today and booked into the Yakima County Jail.  He'll be formally charged with multiple arson counts next week. The fires occurred between January 29th and April 9th, which was this past Wednesday.
