I was honored to be the officiant at one of my best friend’s nuptials over the weekend.  The wedding of Mayor Micah Cawley and his beautiful bride Kristina was simply awesome.  Two great people heading out on a lifetime of fun and adventure because they genuinely care about each other.  It may sound cliché, but they truly are best friends.

material and superficial marriage motivations.

About 80% of men say they’re looking for a woman with a “slender” body, while almost 70% of women say they want a man who has made or will make a lot of money.

The research, published in Personality and Individual Differences, looked at 28,000 people ages 18-75. About 92% of men also want a partner who is good-looking (versus 84% of women) and 97% of women want a man with a steady income (versus 74% of men).

Bottom line: if you’re good looking and rich, you’ll be in demand…but, that alone doesn’t mean you’ll be someone’s best friend. (Yahoo)
