Weekend Storms Raise the Naches River Close to Flood Stage

Worries about minor flooding along the Naches river were eased over the weekend as the river came close to flood stage but no problems were reported. Rivers filled on the west side of the state as well but no flooding was reported. Forecasters had warned of possible flooding because of two Pacific storms that hit the state over the weekend.
