Washington Leads the Nation in Romance — Dave’s Diary

So we are closing in on Valentine’s Day and it’s time to get your romance on.  Question one--where to go?  Answer--to the most romantic city in America.  Go south dearly beloved, go south--deep into the heart of Texas to San Antonio where you’ll find the southern space needle known as the Tower of the Americas, the beautiful river walk, and enough romance to fill a ten gallon hat.

If that’s a bit too far, how a visit to the other Space Needle in Seattle, a city that came in at number two.

The list was created by studying cities with at least 100,000 people and looking into romance-related items they purchased, including books, movies, music and any other products.  Two-time defending champ Knoxville, Tennessee came up two kisses short at number three.

Washington State was by far the most romantic with four cities in the top twenty.  Viva La Romance--Northwest style!
