Yakima's crime free housing program has proven successful to the point that Washington’s Attorney General wanted to see it up close and personal. Rob Mckenna was in Yakima Tuesday night to get the lowdown on how our local landlords and tenants are keeping criminals away from their front door. 80 property owners and landlords attended the first training session. There are three more crime free sessions for the participating landlords in the next week. If you'd like to get involved contact the yakima police department at 575 6158.
