Vets Getting Older Losing VFW Membership

The State Veterans of Foreign Wars convention is set to open Thursday at the Yakima Convention Center. Hundreds of people are expected as well as the National VFW Commander-In-Chief Richard Eubank. Vets from throughout the State will meet to talk about the past and possibly the future of the VFW and how to sustain and grow membership in an organization that officials admit is having a tough time attracting young members. The convention is being held at the Yakima Convention Center and is set for Thursday through Saturday.
