The Stage 1 Burn Ban declared yesterday for both the Upper and Lower Yakima County areas will be continued through the weekend.

· PM2.5 Air Quality levels have reached an “unhealthy level for sensitive groups”, and

· Weather predictions are for continued poor dispersion conditions, coupled with little or no wind activity until tomorrow afternoon

· Agricultural Burn allocation are 0 piles per request for Upper and 0 for the Lower Today.

· We will continue to evaluate the burn ban status
