US 97 will be closed to through traffic from Goldendale to Toppenish starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, through 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 as the Washington State Department of Transportation and its contractor set girders on the new Satus Creek Bridge.

The full closure of US 97 from milepost 44 to milepost 47 is required to allow trucks and cranes to set up on the highway for girder setting between 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 and 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20. Local traffic will be able to access US 97 from Goldendale to milepost 44 and from Toppenish to milepost 47.
