UC Davis Says Wearing Masks Cuts COVID-19 Risk 65%

Here we go again. ANOTHER study about wearing face masks in the face of the Coronavirus!

New research from the University of California finds that wearing a mask reduces the risk of infection with COVID-19 to the wearer by 65 percent.

The scientists found that masks create an effective barrier against droplets that a carrier of the disease expels when they breathe, or cough.

Fox New reports on mask affirming researcher Dean Blumberg, chief of pediatric infectious diseases at UC Davis Children’s Hospital who says, “Everyone should wear a mask. People who say, ‘I don’t believe masks work,’ are ignoring scientific evidence. It’s not a belief system. It’s like saying, ‘I don’t believe in gravity.’”
