The number of confirmed deaths in the Washington state mudslide has risen to 30 with the release of two more victim names.

The Snohomish County medical examiner's office said Thursday that 67-year-old Gloria Halstead and 13-year-old Jovon E. Mangual, both of Arlington, died of multiple blunt force injuries in the accident.

The number of missing — which had stood at 18 Wednesday — is now at 17, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.

The medical examiner's office has released 27 names and is still trying to identify three victims.

Recovery crews are still searching for more bodies in the March 22 landslide that crushed the community of Oso, about 55 miles north of Seattle.
