Two Killed In Saturday Crash On Highway 12

Washington State Patrol troopers continue an investigation into a weekend fatal crash near Packwood on Saturday that took the life of a 10-year-old boy and a 39-year-old woman. The crash on Highway 12 about 10 miles east of Packwood at about 2:00 p.m. Saturday also resulted in the injury of five children.

Troopers say 39-year-old Jonna Rane of London England was driving a Ford Escape along with her 10-year-old passenger when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Traverse. The Chevy was driven by 36-year-old Jamie Hudson Selah. Hudson was driving with five young passengers. a 4-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy, 9-year-old girl, 10-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl. All were injured and taken to Hospitals in Seattle and Tacoma. The actual cause of the crash remains under investigation Today.
