Tuesday Study Session At City Hall On YMCA And SOZO Sports

The Yakima City council will hold a study session Tuesday morning on two major projects in Yakima. The council will talk about the planned YMCA aquatic center at Chesterly Park and major road improvements near the SOZO Sports Complex. The study session starts at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Yakima City hall. City officials say the session will include presentations from SOZO and YMCA board members. They'll be talking about project agreements, budget implications; current status of projects; cost and design of associated road improvements; and transit service to both locations.
