28 year old Kevin Harper arrested in February's triple murder in the Falcon Ridge development now has two death penalty qualified attorneys representing him. The attorney's from Seattle and Everett have been hired by the county and are expected to try and persuade Prosecutor Jim Hagerty not to seek the death penalty in the case...a decision Hagerty is expected to make by April 1st. Hagerty says he's trying to find any evidence that would call for leniency. The cost of the case could be between 5 hundred thousand and a million dollars and it's likely the April first deadline to make the death penalty decision will be extended. The extension may be requested to give the newly appointed attorney's time to put together a package of materials to persuade the prosecutor not to seek the death penalty.
