That Backyard Firepit Or Fireplace Is Illegal In The City

Firepits or backyard fire places...you see them for sale at area stores but Dave Caprile with the Yakima Regional Clean Air Authority says if you live within the city limits of Yakima save your money because they're illegal. Caprile says they're considered a form of outdoor burning. A 15 year old boy was injured on Friday night after his father used gasoline to start a fire in a firepit at the boys home on Pleasent Avenue.
