Teen Shot In Sunnyside Police Looking For Suspects

Sunnyside police are looking for information and suspects in a shooting early this morning that left a 16 year old girl with gunshot wounds to her back. Police Spokeswoman Charlotte Hinderliter says the girl, who is not a gang member was in her bed when she was hit twice by shots from a rifle. She was taken to a local hospital where she's now recovering from surgery. Her condition is unknown. Police are looking for dark colored sedan in the shooting. They say the suspects also fired at a nearby apartment complex but no injuries were reported. Hinderliter says the shootings were gang related.
