Talks between the owners of the Yakima Bears baseball team and Clark County continue today as the team looks to make a possible move to Vancouver Washington. On Monday the Vancouver City Council had a chance to hear a formal presentation from the Bears to move to the city. Afterwards city officials gave the ok to the city manager to research the issue and begin talking to Clark County officials about the team. The Clark County Commissioners today are expected to sign a non binding letter of intent with the owners of the Yakima Bears. The plan is for a 23 million dollar stadium to be built in Vancouver funded in part by an entertainment tax.
