Authorities say the officer was called to the 1400 block of South 8th Street in Sunnyside at about 8:00 pm where the officer was shot.

Yakima Police say the shooting was reported in the area of 24th and Englewood Avenue at about 10:45AM.

The man told police had a gun but no gun was found. No injuries were reported. The man hasn't been identified.

The cost is $157, 227. The State Attorney General says the fire was started by sniper rifle training when a bullet ricocheted off a piece of metal then struck a power line that sparked the fire.
