Today still no arrests after a 15-year-old was killed.

Officers were called to the area at 6:54 pm for a report of shots fired.

A wanted suspect was contacted by officers to take him into custody, but he fired a gun at them instead.

No suspect has been identified and the motive for the shooting is unknown.

The suspect was arrested by Sheriff’s deputies. He's being held in the Yakima county jail as the investigation continues. No names have been released.

The unidentified victim was taken to a Yakima hospital where he died. Witnesses told police the victim and another man were arguing when the man shot the victim and fled.
