Suspect in Wapato Bar Shooting Turns Self In

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies say a man who was wanted in connection with a deadly bar shooting in Wapato last week is behind bars.

Juan Carlos Rodriguez, a 25-year-old from Wapato, turned himself in to deputies Tuesday night. He has been booked into the Yakima County Jail on murder charges.

Deputies say Rodriguez was wanted for murder and was considered armed and dangerous. They believe Rodriguez was involved in the shooting death of 23-year-old Miguel Arciga at Martinez Sports Bar.

Investigators said both the victim and the suspects were members of rival gangs. Two other people involved are in jail on a $1 million bond.
