The Yakima County Sheriff's office has announced the arrest of 28 year old Kevin Harper of Yakima for the February 18th murder of Bill, Pauline and Elizabeth Goggin at their Falcon Ridge home. All three were beaten to death. County Sheriff Ken Irwin told reporters during a press conference at City hall that Harper has been in custody since Saturday on a seperate domestic violence charge. He says deputies served a search warrant on February 28th at a home where Harper was staying and found items taken from the Goggin home. Harper is charged with three counts of aggravated first degree murder, burglary and theft. Authorities say the murders happened during a burglary at the home...entry to the residence was made through an unlocked door. Harper is being held in the county jail. County Prosecutor Jim Hagerty says he'll consider the death penalty in the case because of it's brutality. Authorities say Harper lived close enough to the Goggin home that he could have walked there and avoided the gate security.
