A lot of people are watching the stock market today wondering how their money is doing and if their 401k is ok. If that's you financial planner Robert Vickers says just relax. Vickers is a planner at Yakima's Financial Management Incorporated who tells KIT News Today "there are times you go through corrections in the market. They're inevitable." Vickers says the younger you are the less a downturn in the market will effect you and your finances and in fact Vickers says its times like these that create the greatest opportunities for growth. But he says if you are near retirement and you haven't looked at your 401k lately now may be the time for a review. "It might be a good time to reevaluate what your goals are and make any changes." Vickers says whatever you do don't panic when you see numbers fall in the market. He says do your homework or talk to your financial planner.
