Statewide Foster Parents Conference Coming To Yakima

The Foster Parents Association of  Washington State conference will be held at Yakima's West Valley Church on March 16.

Doors open at 8 a.m. for registration. Activities start at 9 a.m., running until 4:30 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

The conference will offer several speakers in the morning session and foster parent trainings in the afternoon. Those trainings will count as a 6 hour credit toward foster licensing requirements. This meeting is free of charge, and is open to all foster, adoptive, and relative caregivers. Childcare will be provided.

Yakima's West Valley Church is located at the corner of South 72nd Avenue and West Nob Hill Boulevard.
