The Washington State Supreme Court held an emergency hearing on Monday where it put on hold an order from judges in Yakima County Superior Court requiring Yakima County Clerk Janelle Riddle to get a $200,000 bond or step down from her office. Officials say the court will decide on July 5 to whether or not to hear the case, allow a Superior Court to take action or dismiss the case. The judges have required the bond following a report from state auditors found that $13,000 was unaccounted for in the Yakima County Clerks office.
