State Fair Park One Popular Place For Fun

2011 is expected to be another big year for the Central Washington Fair Association. During the recent annual meeting officials reported 650 thousand people attended events at State Fair Park last year. The biggest event was the Central Washington State Fair which drew more than 312 thousand people. Plans are already underway for the 2011 version of the fair. Negotiations with several big name entertainers are in the works and new attractions are planned as well. State fair officials say last year's events made a 70 million dollar impact on the Yakima economy.
