It's the end of the tourism season...and now the state is allowing agri tourism in the Yakima Valley under current COVID-19 guidelines. The Washington State Health Department approved the operation of some agricultural tourism this week. The approved activities include u-pick farms and tree farms. At this time hayrides, corn mazes are not allowed. U-pick farms are required to follow strict COVID-19 guidelines.
Many of the activities at farms happen during the fall months prior to Halloween next month. Health officials say haunted houses and hay rides may be available later in the month or early next month depending on the spread of the virus in the Yakima Valley.
