The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is preparing to transport a Terrace Heights man across the country after he was arrested in Tennessee.

Cory Lindblom is accused of shooting his wife back in March of 2013 in their Terrace Heights home and if you are on a commercial flight into Yakima in the next couple days, you could end up sitting next to him.

Lindblom will be escorted back to Yakima by two Yakima County Sheriff's deputies on a commercial flight instead of flying a private jet.

Lindblom was arrested last week in connection with a 2013 shooting. He claims he accidentally shot his pregnant wife, mistaking her for an intruder standing at the foot of his bed in the darkness.

Detective Mike Russell is one of the officers who will be making the trip to Memphis, Tennessee to bring Lindblom back to Yakima. "Security precautions are in place," Russell said. "And so probably the vast majority of the people on the flight, other than maybe just a few people right around us, will have no clue that our presence is even there and what we're doing and that there are armed law enforcement officers on the plane."

Lindblom is currently charged with manslaughter in connection with the shooting. Russell says he can't say exactly which day Lindblom will arrive back in Yakima for security reasons but Russell does expect Lindblom to appear before a judge sometime next week.
