If you live in Selah or Prosser look for ballots in the mail for two construction bonds that failed earlier this year. In Selah voters are being asked to approve a 39 million dollar bond to make improvements to Selah High and other schools and replace the junior high. 58 percent of voters supported the measure in February but it failed because a 60 percent supermajority is needed for passage. In Prosser voters are being asked to support a 39 million dollar measure to build a new high school. It was supported by 57 percent of voters in February but failed to reach the 60 percent needed to pass. Ballots are due April 26th.
