Seatside Service At Yakima’s New Entertainment Venue

It will be called the Galaxy Theater and Mickey's Pub. It opens in Yakima next year to replace the former Uptown Plaza theater. Plans were announced today by Yakima Theater Owner Kathy Mercy. The 21 and over only theater will feature a full service bar, pub style menu and 3 large digital screens. And the best part of the announcement today? Seatside service. Mercy says you'll push a button and be able to order food or drink before the movie starts from the comfort of your seat. The new Galaxy Theater and Mickey's Pub is expected to be open in August of 2012...the 100th anniversary of Yakima Theaters.
