Rock Slide Cleared Monday Highway 12 Open

A big rock slide closed US Highway 12 for 30 miles on monday. Washington State Department of Transportation officials say the slide near the Oak Creek feeding station happened Monday morning. Large rocks fell onto the road and struck a vehicle that was overturned in the slide. The driver suffered a hand injury. The roadway re-opened on Monday afternoon.
