Yakima city crews are busy with a street repair project this week that could impact your commute if you live in West Valley. The work is happening at the intersection of Tieton Drive and 72nd Avenue from Monday, October 21 through Wednesday, October 23. City crews are grinding, removing and replacing deteriorating asphalt. A press release says the work will impact traffic by limiting traffic to one lane in each direction.  The work happens from 7:30 a.m.  to 3:30 p.m. each day.

The project may cause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection. Contact the City of Yakima Refuse Division at 575-6005 for more information.
