A new route to reduce traffic congestion on S. First Street through Selah is about to open. Please join the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the city of Selah, elected officials, Hurst Construction, Tree Top, and local business leaders as we cut the ribbon and open the rerouted State Route 823 (christened Jim Clements Way by the city of Selah).

When: Friday, July 29, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Where: The ceremony will be held at the intersection of State Route 823 and E. Fifth Avenue along the new Jim Clements Way. WSDOT signs will direct guests to parking and seating.
