Riverside Christian school released this statement.  "Along with the rest of the country, we are shocked and saddened to receive the information over the weekend about David Eisenhauer. He was a strong student, well liked by teachers and peers, and even at that time a promising distance runner.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family and with his parents and younger sister."

lovell was last seen at her home in Blacksburg on Thursday.  Her disappearance sparked a massive police search which authorities say, led them to Eisenhauer.

Police believe Eisenhauer and Lovell knew each other but their exact relationship is unclear.
