Red Light Camera Idea Still Alive In Yakima

Red light cameras are still being considered in Yakima says city council member Maureen Adkison. Adkison is a member of the city Public Safety Committee who says one of the main reasons you're not seeing red light cameras in city intersections is because of budget cuts that have trimmed the number of available clerks to collect fines. But she says if the budget improves, cameras could be considered by the city council.
