Warm temperatures, heavy rain in the Cascades and melting snow are causing some concern for people who live near rivers and small streams in the county. Jim Hall Director of the Yakima County Office of Emergency Management says a flood watch is in effect for the Naches River at Naches with some minor bank flooding expected between now and tomorrow. Hall says however he's watching the smaller streams where minor flooding is already being reported on the Wenas and Cowiche creeks. If you have any questions or concerns call the Office of Emergency Management at 574 1900.
