Prosecutors Want Juvenile Shooting Suspect Charged As Adult

A 14 year old boy recently arrested for shooting a Yakima grandmother and her grandson has been tied to the shooting of a 6 year old girl. Yakima Police have connected Preston Meza through shell casings found at both crime scenes to Meza's gun. The 6 year old girl was grazed on the neck after bullets were fired into her Yakima home in August. Now prosecutors are pushing to try Meza as an adult. He's being held on 3 counts of first degree assault.
