The Yakima City Council has a busy agenda for Tuesday's council meeting. The council will hold several public hearings to deal with a proposed property tax increase and a proposal to pair down the cities business improvement district to fund downtown cleanup. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. Council members are also expected to vote on an ordinance that increases to four the number of hours people can park in city owned lots in the downtown area. It is part of an ongoing push to get more people into Yakima's downtown.
