Postal Employees Rally To Keep The Post Office Open

Save the post office rallies will be held in the valley and across the State today. Employee unions of the US Postal Service will rally in front of the offices of 4th District Congressman Doc Hastings beginning at 4 this afternoon. The rallies are meant to send a message to the congressman and other federal officials to help save the postal service that's running out of money and facing major cuts. Hastings Yakima office is located at 402 east Yakima Avenue. Hastings is not expected to be in Yakima today.
