Police Still Looking for Shooter of Yakima Teacher’s Aide

Yakima Police are looking for a man suspected in the murder of a teacher outside a Taco Bell on Yakima Avenue.Yakima police believe Lucio Rivera-Fernandez was the trigger man in that shooting as well as the driver of the suspect vehicle. Investigators also believe he is in Arizona or on his way to Mexico. The killing of Yecenia Guerrero in the Yakima Taco Bell parking lot a week ago Sunday is believed to be a case of mistaken identity. Monday afternoon, 21 year old, Ivan Izazaga made his first appearance in front of a superior court judge, suspected of taking part in that shooting as well. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.
