Yakima police investigators are now putting together reports to pass to the County Prosecutor for review following Sunday's stabbing and shooting. Investigators say an initial review of the officer's fatal shooting of the attacker was justified to save the life of the 21 year old stabbing victim. Julio Ceasar Zamora-Cortes was stabbed 159 times. He's listed in stable condition at a Yakima hospital and is expected to survive. Officer Joel Hansen fired two shots killing the attacker, 27 year old Yeuri Acevedo Cisneros. The reports from the Yakima Police Department will soon be passed to County Prosecutor Jim Hagarty to determine if the shooting was justified.
