(Updated 5:00 a.m.) Police Arrest One Suspect in White Swan Murder
Authorities continue to investigate a murder in White Swan reported on Wednesday night. On Thursday the suspect 26-year-old Michael Anthony Davis made an appearance in court where bail was set at $1 million.
Detectives from the Yakima County Sheriff's Office say Davis forced his way into a home in the 400 block of First Street and brutally murdered 63-year-old Gail Teo. Teo was stabbed and shot. Her body was found by her husband.
Davis was arrested after Yakima Nation Tribal officers found him walking on a road near the home.
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office and Yakama Nation Police are investigating a murder reported in White Swan Wednesday night. Detectives say a 26-year-old suspect forced his way into a home in the 400 block of First Street and fatally shot a woman in the home. According to a news release from the sheriff's office the suspect was arrested by Tribal Police walking along a street in White Swan on Wednesday night. The suspect faces charges of burglary and first-degree murder. He's being held in the Yakima County jail.
