Lines have already started to form outside shopping centers and box stores as eager consumers position themselves for the super deals promised for the day after Thanksgiving known as “Black Friday”.That means sleeping in tents and eating turkey dinner on the concrete and asphalt .  So if that’s you resting up for the midnight madness of Black Friday – good luck with that.

However for those who prefer a little more elbow room with their shopping, mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 27th.

The experts at ShopperTrak, who analyze foot traffic, say that is expected to be one of the lightest shopping days between now and Christmas.  They also say the Monday through Thursday following Thanksgiving weekend are the best bet, with Tuesday expected to be the off-peak peak.

If you don’t have the time or inclination to shop next week, shoot for December 3rd through the 6th or the 10th and 11th. After that, you’re on your own, with everyone else.
