Parade On Sunday To Honor Local Veterans

Veterans will be honored by your presence at the annual Veterans Day parade along Yakima Avenue on Sunday, November 11, veterans day 2018. The parade will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Yakima Avenue and Naches Avenue and will continue West to 6th Avenue.
The parade will end about a half-block east of the VFW- Post 379 building, which is located at 118 s. 5th avenue. It is scheduled to end at 12:00 pm. WW II veteran and former P.O.W. Dr. Lloyd Gabriel will be the Parade Marshal.
A ceremony is also planned at the Korean, Vietnam memorial monument on the Yakima Greenway. The ceremony starts at 1:00 p.m. Sunday veterans day 2018.
