**A recent report from the USDA highlights a significant shift toward online grocery shopping in the U.S.

It shows about one in five who typically do household grocery shopping made an online purchase in the past month.

The most likely online shoppers were women, ages 15-24, White, married or partnered, with young children and more educated.

Time constraints were the top reason for shopping online.

**USDA data compiled by the U.S. Meat Export Federation shows September U.S. pork and beef exports were higher year-over-year.

Pork exports were 5% above last year’s pace at 2.3 million metric tons, with the value 7% higher at $6.36 billion.

U.S. beef exports reached nearly 104,000 metric tons, up 5%, while export value rose 6% to almost $844 million.

This year, exports are up 5% in value but down 2% in volume.

**The U.S. Treasury issued a final rule that significantly expands its ability to review real estate transactions by foreign buyers near military bases.

The Treasury, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Investment, says it has authority to review certain real estate transactions near specified military installations and to take the appropriate actions when necessary.

Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellin says this final rule is a milestone in safeguarding critical U.S. military and defense installations.
